Share your Queue with Anybody

Not everybody knows about the RSS feature of Netflix or how to use it, but it's really quite simple. Every Netflix user has three RSS feeds: Queue, Most Recent Rental Activity, and Recommendations. You can find the links to your personal feeds at http://www.netflix.com/RSSFeeds?lnkctr=mfRSS.

However, RSS feeds are designed to be easily read by computers not humans, and therefore, they don't look very pretty in your web browser. To make them pretty, you'd have to have a little bit of technical expertise and setup RSS2HTML, Feed2JS, or another similar program.

But I took the time today to make things a little simpler. Take any one of your personal RSS links from your Netflix page, and paste it to the end of this link:

For example, the link to my queue looks like this:

http://www.inkysoftware.com/rss2html.php?XMLFILE=http://rss.netflix.com/QueueRSS?id=P8614861433781642051795732017079353

Feel free to make your own links and share them with anybody -- even friends who don't have Netflix will be able to view them. Of course, the little Netflixter link in the upper right corner is just part of the deal.
