Netflixter 2 Coming Soon

I know it's been a while since an update. The main Netflix web site went through so many rapid changes that rather than posting a new Netflixter update every 2 weeks, I decided to concentrate on Netflixter 2 -- a complete overhaul of Netflixter.

I'm really excited about this new version! It has an awesome new interface, new features, and all the old features like history logging and queue shuffle.

Expect Netflixter 2 to be available for download near the end of spring. I'll send out an email to all registered users.

Also, expect a new version of Spunkicast in the coming months.

Netflixter Update Available

Another Netflixter update is available. It fixes the recent problem with received and return dates not showing in your queue. It also fixes the problem when clicking an actor or director name and not getting a list of movies.

The current version of Netflixter is now 1.2.2278.23761. You can update to the new version by running Netflixter and clicking Help > Check for Update. Or, you can download it from the Netflixter page.

Important Netflixter Update

The Netflixter update is available now. It fixes the recent problem with DVD info not showing. It also fixes the Friend's Suggestions list.

The current version of Netflixter is now 1.2.2262.35091. You can update to the new version by running Netflixter and clicking Help > Check for Update. Or, you can download it from the Netflixter page.

If, after installing the new version and logging in, your queue does not show at all, you need to delete your logins.cfg file located in your Netflixter program folder. The default location for this folder is C:\Program Files\Inky Software\Netflixter .

Movie Detail Not Showing Up Issue

Netflix has changed their system layout again, and unfortunately this has caused a couple problems with Netflixter. We are currently working on a solution for an update as soon as possible.

SpunkiCast Beta Updated

I've made a few bug fixes to SpunkiCast Beta. The most important fix involved a problem when uploading Podcasts that had no channel artwork. The new version is 0.1.2141.28692 beta. You can download it from the SpunkiCast page. Thanks for the comments and suggestions on this project!

Update and New Feature

A new version of Netflixter is available. It restores use of the friend favorites list. The current version of Netflixter is now 1.2.2138.23630. You can update to the new version by running Netflixter and clicking Help - Check for Update. Or, you can download it from the Netflixter page.

This update also includes a new feature: the ability to import and export queues. To export your queue, select File - Export from the menu. Your current "in" and "not released" DVDs will be saved to the file name and location you select.

The exported file can be imported later. All DVD titles in the file will be added to your current queue.

This feature is handy for:

• Restoring a queue in case of a mistake made while removing or reorganizing.
• Restoring a queue if your account has been closed and inactive for a long time.
• Moving a queue from another account or profile.

Spunkicast Beta Released

Spunkicast is new software for publishing Podcasts. Add your audio files, fill out your channel information, and Spunkicast generates the required XML file for iTunes. Spunkicast also handles FTP upload to your web site. Read more about Spunkicast. This is the very first beta release of Spunkicast, and I am looking forward to your input!
